Great place for breakfast or brunch, great portions sizes. Crab omelet and eggs Benedict tasted great. Nice service and cozy place. Orange juice and coffee were very good. They use local ingredients where possible, read: local cheese, eggs and diary.
Cons: the plates are disposable, following a sustainability initiative, but it makes the meal experience feel a bit like take out.
This tiny restaurant reminds me of a little restaurant in Truckee, The Squeeze In. You may have to wait to get in, but it's worth it! My husband got the Eggs Benedict and I got the Crabbywich. They were excellent! We will probably be eating there again before we leave town. Lovely service as well.
Great stop on our Harley trip up the Coast. Came in for lunch, looking forward to breakfast sometime. Great choices of house prepared everything. I had the OZ Burger with house made pepper Jack... very tasty, large house ground brisket and chuck beef patty. The other two had the Clam Chowder. They said it was good, but we've enjoyed no doubt the best Clam Chowder anywhere, down in Bodega Bay. Small venue with great service. I'll bet Egghead really shines at breakfast time. We'll be back for breakfast for sure.
First timers eating here! The food was 10/10 definitely fresh and so good we both enjoyed our meals. We got the Dungeness crabby witch & the Dungeness crab garlic omelette with some fresh OJ on the side. So glad we got to try this place before we headed back home! Service was amazing and so friendly everyone should definitely try it once at least
Reunited and feels so GOOD ! We used to come to EggHead three four times year Pre- Covid and spend the weekends at the coast. This place was a hit then and it's a hot now. ******** Attention People public announcement ************ ********************

Egghead menu is small but everything they do is delicious and prepared with love have never had any bad here.
This time around I order my own creations. I order the flying Monkey potatoes with two scrambled eggs on top and corn beef Amazing full favors and delicious .
My wife order the Dorothy Revenge she said she would give it four out five stars .
Now we always order breakfast dessert French Toast it is . Awesome . The French toast melts in your mouth. Thank you EggHead for another great breakfast.
Excellent Food with friendly service in a quaint and clean establishment. Located in downtown and if there is a wait time for a table it is well worth the wait!

I very much liked the wizard of Oz theme and our server was incredible. and I'd like to tell her thank you for the extra table.
Small intimate place with great coffee! We couldn't decide on what to get so we ordered a whole bunch of things. Their coffee is great I have to admit! Everything else was pretty average for the price. The garlic omelette definitely had its garlic flavor, the cinnamon raisin French toast was good and super sweet. The real star of the show was the flying potatoes. Highly recommend ordering that. I do have to note, the staff were super sweet enough to let my husband and I change sweets even after we were seated.
This is the place to go for wonderful, welcoming staff, great service, and amazing food. The Wizard of Oz theme is obvious as soon as you walk in and it holds true to the local color of Fort Bragg. Street parking out front is parallel. I have celiac disease and the gluten free pancakes are delicious. Fresh squeezed OJ and the meats are all smoked next door our server told us. They make an effort to be a locally sourced and sustainable eatery. Next time we are in the area we are definitely coming back! Must try!
